In this universe, 7 objects from Inanimate Island and 7 objects from Goiky all reign as Magical Objects. Going on battles with various entities in various realms, attending training sessions, and dealing with other events in their home worlds, Alongside them, there are lower class spirits who stay to protect the two connected islands. And in this book, we get to see all of the strange, fun, and kind of terrifying events they can actually get themselves into!

Four's newest challenge is certainly unique... All contestants become human, and four offers no explanation beyond "It's part of the challenge". Four also won't tell them what the challenge is. None of them have ever seen a human before, much less been one. (besides David and Dora maybe) Put a puzzle to even find out the challenge on top of that, and things are getting... complicated. After the events of BFDIA, all the objects are happy to settle down and have fun together as friends, without all the stress of a competition. But then, one day, a strange creature named Four appears, forcing them all to partake in a "game". Everyone is forced to form 17 teams of 4, but are given no other context until after they've formed and named their teams. Finally, Four explains to them what the objective of the game is: Survive. Each time has to survive alone in the forest for 7 months. They have to find shelter and resources all on their own, and the only rule is to survive the 7 months. The only way to be eliminated is through death. 17 teams of 4 enter the game. But how many will make it out alive?
