It's been almost a month and a half since the breakup and neither Ant, nor Stephen had spoken to the other, but then the day both of them had been dreading. The first day of BGT auditions, they both knew how awkward it would be and how tough it would be seeing each other for the first time. Stephen hated Ant for breaking up with him, he didn't see why they couldn't just talk and try to fix it instead they skipped that whole step and went straight to the breakup. And Ant really regretted breaking up with Stephen, not talking about it, explaining to Stephen how he was feeling, instead he got scared, instead he ran. He ended the relationship before it got to the point where they couldn't fix it, but they hadn't got to that point. Ant got scared, he ran from his feelings, and here they were now. 2018 was a tough year for Ant, Dec and Stephen, but especially Ant. Ant had gone through a lot and had to take time off work to look after himself, but Dec and Stephen were right by his side the whole time. He didn't have to go through it alone. Dec and Stephen continued to host Saturday night takeaway, and BGT and BGMT but each and everyday they missed Ant, it just wasn't the same. It's new years eve of 2018 and Ant and Stephen were going over Dec's to spend the new years with him and Ali. This year Stephen has decided he is going to ask Ant to marry him. How? He doesn't know yet, he's going to ask Dec and Ali to help him when they go over on new years eve. Stephen wants to make this proposal something Ant will never forget, even if it makes him seem cheesy, he wants Ant to know how much he truly means to him. Stephen has been thinking about this almost all year, he needed something to distract himself from the fact that Ant was in rehab, and all he could do was wait and hope for the best. ------------------------ I have skipped 2018, so this book starts new years eve of 2018, I didn't want to risk offending anyone. When Stephen gets a bit too drunk and ant has to take him to the guest room in his house, As ant lays Stephen down on the bed the man pulls ant on top of him, and lays a kiss on his lips... Ants always had trouble figuring out who he is and what his sexuality is, and no one but dec and Stephen have seen the multiple rants and moments of confusion on who he is and who he likes. Will this kiss clear things up? How will he react to this turn of advents..?
