    Telugu cinema, conjointly best-known by its moniker Tollywood, is the phase of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures within the Telugu language, primarily based in Film Nagar, an area of Hyderabad. Since 1909, filmmaker Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu father of Telugu cinema was concerned in producing short films and travel to totally different regions in Asia to market film work. In 1921, he made the first Telugu silent film, Bhishma Pratigna. He's cited because of the father of Telugu cinema. In 1933, East India Film Company has made its 1st Indian film, Savitri in Telugu. The first film studio in South India, Durga Cinetone, was constructed in 1936 by Nidamarthi Surayya in Rajahmundry. The 1951 film Patala Bhairavi was the only south Indian film screened at the first India International festival, held in Bombay. Bhakta Prahlada is that the 1st Telugu full-length talkie film, based on The Story of Narasimha and Prahlada in Hindu mythology. It's created by H. M. Reddy, a pioneer of the Indian movie industry. Right from their Telugu cinema has produced many legendary actresses, actors, directors, music directors, Producers etc.; Telugu film distribution territories are as follows Nizam, Ceded, Vizag, East, West, Krishna, Guntur, and Nellore etc. In a movie industry that spans over a century, it's near impossible to convey a solid range of productions released over one hundred years. Tollywood film Industry celebrated a festival called vajrotsavam on the mighty occasion of 100 years in Telugu cinema. In 2015 Telugu cine has seen new heights with the film called Baahubali with lots of Visual effects and very big sets everything has come to new standards with awards in category Best Film, Best Director, Best supporting character and many more.
