Raven Montgomery is a girl. Yes, a girl. Seven years ago the government was taken over by a group of crazy people. They took all of the females under the age of 25 away to live in camps. Everyone but Raven was taken away. Her mother and brother dressed her as a boy to keep her safe, but how long can it last? How long will she last in a world that wants her sex to be locked away?

Radical Shifts is the true story of a man's search for himself through rock music and then priesthood and back to rock even harder. Pete Mason started playing guitar in elementary school and continued in bands in high school and beyond. He went on wild road trips and was addicted to drugs and a life of promiscuity until one day he experienced Jesus Christ calling him to a new life. Pete later heard a voice while on retreat calling him to be a priest, which he initially ran away from but later followed and was ordained in 1994 for the Archdiocese of Vancouver, BC, Canada. All was well for a couple of years until he experienced great difficulties with a superior and was eventually removed from his church and sent home. Some time passed until Pete had a nervous breakdown and was admitted to a psych ward where he was diagnosed bi-polar. After many years in and out of churches he realized that God was calling him to leave the priesthood to get married and start a band: Myztery.

Her life was not meant to be this way. This was not what she had envisioned. It was supposed to get better. However, It only got worse. Her life wasn't perfect before but it escalated until it felt like a horrible nightmare. She was always prone to feeling more than others though. Maybe, thats why she liked to pour her feelings on a notebook everyday. She wasn't always like this, alone and scared. However, she couldn't change that even if she had tried. She always had been different and she was painfully aware of that fact. She still would have never expected her world to just crumble away into nothingness.

Maxxus Ian Kelly isn't quite your average person. He has heterochromatic eyes, one blue and one green. He's been put in a mental institution for his severe bi-polar disorder, and murder because of that disorder. His life inside the 4 white walls changed, however, when he is approached and offered a job to work for The Asylum.

I don't mind. Having Bi-Polar disorder that is. What I do mind is the way that everyone is tiptoeing around me like I'm some grenade about to explode. The hushed whispers, the sympathetic and patronising stares and the small sad smiles. All I want is for everything to just be the same as before I was diagnosed, for people to treat me normally.
