"I want a divorce, Evyavaan." "What did you say?" he growled. "I want you to divorce me, Evyavaan," she repeated, though her resolve faltered. "I dare you," he said through gritted teeth. "Say that again." "There is no divorce happening, darling." he said, eyes raging. "You think you get to decide this alone?" He seethed. "From the very first day, I have been nothing but patient with you. But it seems like you mistook my patience for weakness." Anvika Khanna, the only daughter of the Khanna family, had everything. Protected by three overprotective brothers, her life was nothing short of a fairytale. She was living her dream until a single incident flipped her entire world upside down. Writing became her escape. Under a pen name, away from her family name and legacy, she created a different world. And then came the marriage. A marriage she used to escape her reality, from the eys on her family, to Evyavaan Malhotra. Evyavaan Malhotra, India's leading business tycoon, carries his family legacy effortlessly. Once the sunshine eldest of the Malhotra family, he is now dominant, intense, and dangerously possessive. He believes that once something is his, letting go is not an option. A marriage bound by obligation and family pressure ties him to her. But now, he is not ready to let her go, when all she wants is to end this marriage. He would burn the world before letting Anvika disappear from his life. What begins as obligation turns into obsession. What was orchestrated as an escape starts feeling like home. And the screams she never voiced begin to echo in ways neither of them expected. The Silent Screams is a dark, slow-burn romance about suppressed trauma, possessive love, and healing that doesn't come gently but fiercely. •~•~•~•~• It's a standalone novel! SHATTERED VEILS Description: Two souls find themselves brought together by fate and family obligations. Bareera Hayat, a reserved and kind-hearted final year student major in software development at a Riyadh university, is shaped by a painful past and a tragic loss. She keeps her feelings guarded and her trust limited. With her shy demeanor and delicate personality, Bareera hides her vulnerability behind a wall of emotional reserve and insecurities. Afaaq Ali, a dedicated detective, is serious and principled, driven by a deep sense of duty and respect for his family. His loyalty and intelligence make him a fascinating individual. Passionate about Arabic calligraphy and a love for books, Afaaq maintains a simple lifestyle and a devoted faith. His commitment to his work and family shapes his every action. When Bareera and Afaaq are brought together in an arranged marriage, their worlds collide in unexpected ways. As they navigate the complexities of their new life together, Bareera struggles with the shadows of her past, while Afaaq strives to be a supportive partner. Their shared love for books and a budding connection slowly bridge the gaps in their relationship, revealing a deeper understanding of each other's inner struggles and strengths. Amidst their personal journey, they uncover truths about Bareera's late friend Samiya Ahmed, whose mysterious death continues to haunt her. Shattered Veils is a heartfelt exploration of trust, love, and the quest for justice, highlighting the intricate dynamics of two individuals learning to embrace each other and their shared challenges.

Camryn Moore & Jason Porter Their names are always kinda said together, in a pair, just like that. After all, they are sort of a pair; always together. But, not together together. They're best friends, and have been since they were 5 years old. However, in their junior year at Richmond High, these two are always being told to become a couple, or that they are a couple really. Everyone thinks and says so- even the teachers. Kinda sick and tired of the teasing, Camryn and Jason sort of come up with a plan. But, will their plan benefit them in the way they think it will? Or could it leave them both in an emotional mess, with only b r o k e n pieces of a friendship? Together, they find out the hardships of being friends, the kinks in their relationship, and something not noticed before, that could make it all worthwhile... Well... Kinda, Sort of. PUBLISHED BY THE POLYETHNIC!!

This book is about the books I've read. I started writing my thoughts about the books I read in 2022. Writing reviews isn't my cup of tea but writing small notes about it is interesting. I decided to start doing this since I don't trust my mind to remember stuff. Giving birth has its downside but the experience is fulfilling and exhilarating! I used to tell someone about the book by its title. Their amazement upon knowing how great my memory was an enjoyment to me. So, here I am, attempting to jot down notes to keep track of my bookish adventure. I can only wish I did this years ago as a young reader.

Carried over from my Tumblr, this is a personal project tracking what I read through time, largely because of my awful memory. These aren't long reviews, but the books are varied, and the opinions are honest, so I hope you enjoy.

Shakespeare was wrong. There is such no thing as "Shall I compare thee to...." because for me you have no comparison.
