Bifrost Stories

SPOILERS!!!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN THOR AND ARE PLANNING ON WATCHING IT! Otherwise go right ahead. :) Loki's thoughts and reflections when he was holding onto the staff, before falling into the Bifrost.

Loki has been locked away after committing treason on Asgard, there he waits for his trial where he will receive his sentence-will he be thrown out of Asgard or be given a second chance? There he meets a young woman named Aubrey who helps clean the palace in her spare time. Aubrey is intelligent and kind-hearted, and the second-prince quickly begins to call her his friend. They talk often and for hours when they can between the bars before the trial and it's not long before the young woman finds herself falling for the trickster. But Odin warns them against the feelings they feel for each other-saying that his son has a dark heart, a heart which can be given to no one. Can Aubrey and Loki convince Odin otherwise, or will Loki be caste out of Asgard and out of her life, forever? (For the purposes of this story, it doesn't follow the story line of the movies.) (I own none of the characters except my OC Aubrey, all other characters belong to Marvel.)

Děj příběhu se odehrává někdy v čase mezi koncem filmu Thor a začátkem filmu Avengers. Loki je po pádu z Bifrostu uvězněn v prázdnu mezi světy. Vnímá jen tmu, beznaděj a zmar. Z tohoto stavu jej vysvobodí Titán Thanos, který díky svým neuvěřitelným telepatickým schopnostem zachytí Lokiho bezhlasé volání o pomoc. Nabídne mu armádu polorobotických příšer rasy Chituari výměnou za věc, která se nachází na Midgardu - modře zářící kostka oplývající neomezenou energií. Tesseract ... ,,Dám ti armádu, dám ti moc pokořit jeden z Devíti světů. Ale jestli selžeš, a my ten Tesseract ztratíme, budeš zlomený a na kolenou skučet o smrt a modlit se, aby ti On vyhověl..."

Norse mythology consists of tales of various deities, beings, and heroes. Heroes such as the hammer-wielding, mankind-protecting god Thor, who unrelentingly pursues his foes. Myths we call them but what if they're not. What if somewhere, somehow, they are real. Well I'll tell you what. It means that your whole life, your whole existence is a lie. Humans will quake with terror of the unknown and for once there'll be no one there to save them.

Everyone looks at Laufey and sees a Monster, but I once read that even the wickedest of monsters still have something beating in their chest. Nobody ever knew who Loki's mother was or gave her the respect of even acknowledging her, no one gave her the story she could possibly deserve. We just look at Loki and leave it there, but what if we re-write the story and understand the villains and understand why they did what they did. In this story we go into their stories and understand what made them who the were because every villain deserves their own story...
