Jim is heartbroken when he goes back in time, knowing it was the right thing to do but unable to handle being the only one to remember all that had happened the past three years. But with the help of Douxie and Archie, he mends his broken heart while fixing the mistakes of the past. Basically Jim is super depressed cos no one remembers anything, but Douxie helps him and they both work together to fight the bad guys while dealing with their trauma and sadness. NOT Douxie x Jim, they have a big brother little brother relationship. Kinda inspired by this one fic 'Your Future Hasn't Been Written Yet' by Sakon76 on Fanfiction.net, but only certain parts. You should read that tho it's really good. And Jim stays the Trollhunter, beacause I say so. I absolutely hated the way Rise Of The Titans ended so I decided to write this fanfic depicting how I would have liked it to go instead. I never actually watched ROTT. I just know how it ended and therefore refused to watch it and wrote this instead, so forgive me if I get some things wrong. WARNING THIS STORY CONTAINS SOME Panic Attacks Mild Self Harm Depression PTSD (Not alot of any of it, it's not the story's main focus but it does happen because I am obsessed with angst.) Ships include Jim x Claire, Toby x Darci, Aja x Steve, Strickler x Barbara, basically just all the canon ones.
