Ari Fuma is the daughter of Mizuki Fuma and Tsubaki. Tsubaki got pregnant, and then Mizuki decided to propose to which Tsubaki said yes. When Ari turned two, her parents still hadn't married. Her father, Mizuki, tried to kill Naruto Uzumaki and Iruka Umino. He almost killed her mother, Tsubaki. Mizuki was taken to prison, leaving Tsubaki to take care of Ari herself. When Naruto and Iruka found out about Ari, they decided to help out Tsubaki and help take care of Ari. Eventually, the names Big Brother Naruto and Uncle Iruka stuck.
