The Cat Tribe is struggling, as the Canine Tribe grows greedy and hungers for more land. Tensions are high. Tempers are strained. And in the midst of it all, Terrence Caeruleum has decided to go against everything, and fall in love with a Canine, disobey his leaders, and try to change.

Traveling herbs give little release, and stores are quickly running out. Until a sign comes from StarClan, and a group of 3 warriors and 2 Medicine cats travel hundreds of miles away from home to find this prophesied herb that will vaccinate the cats and heal the starvation pangs until the leaf-bare ends.
