A 12 year old boy who lives in a mansion with his rich parents gets abandoned in the forest by their greedy butler who is willing to take his inheritance from his parents, the butler abandons him to let Bigfoot eat him alive which was thought to be a rumor that children have been eaten by Bigfoot.

Ella Kay Donelly lives with a family of Donelly's in a small California town where she and her brother, Deven, graduate from a small California school as Charter Rebels. They stick out in there family, and they're overlooked in their community. That's just how things are... at least until they were extended an invitation to an after-graduation getaway north. Long Big-Foot-story short, things happen- powerful things- and lives are saved. Ella Kay Donelly was never a Donnelly to begin with, but a Wendorff, a royal one in the world of monsters. Daemons are killed, for once supernatural beings are holy, and the liberi, otherwise known as humans, have no idea about any of it. God gave the holy ones the purpose that trumps all.
