He was born on April 14, 1891, in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, and passed away on December 6, 1956, in New Delhi. Key facts and achievements about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Ambedkar Jayanti: FIRST Eventually Ambedkar was born in a Dalit family and faced discrimination and social exclusion throughout his life. He did education in India and abroad and obtained degrees in economics, law, and political science.
