Hiro and his friends teams up with Tora to capture the mask man. But why can Tora turn into a guy? And what are these strange creatures that keep popping around?

Set before the events of the movie Big Hero 6 Hiro and Tadashi Hamada's parents have been killed in an accident and the brothers are sent to live with their Aunt Cass. Little toddler Hiro is fearful of his new home and uncomfortable around his aunt despite her geniune warmth and kindness, unable to shake off the never ending nightmares both Tadashi and himself start experiencing every night since their parents' deaths, as well as being afraid of losing his older brother. Tadashi struggles to come to terms with the death of his parents, adapt to his new surroundings in San Fransokyo and take care of his baby brother all at the same time. While in San Fransokyo, his talent and high IQ is noticed and he is invited to attend the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where he meets a bunch of new friends. Will Tadashi be able to fit in at college, and will Hiro manage to get over his fear of losing the ones he loves the most? Or will history repeat itself and leave Hiro alone and empty once again?
