Everything changes when he is hired by none other than idol group and iconic Splatlands trio Deep Cut to fly them to the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Having recently emerged after a sudden shift in the tectonic plates off the coast of Inkadia and the Splatlands, the islands are said to be home to mysteries, treasure, and possibly dangers beyond comprehension. Yet when fate causes Deep Cut and Y/N to crash onto the Spirhalite Islands, they have to work together to not only survive, but thrive on the cryptic archipelago. The ultimate question for Y/N is whether his body or his mind will survive when dealing with the unusual trio he has found himself stranded with.

I'm not novelizing the game or going level by level or anything, but I did gain a greater appreciation for Deep Cut as characters via this game and want to explore that. I also think the mechanic has potential to be a fun character. This isn't really a reader fic so much as it is a second person fic, but it can really be interpreted either way.
