This is a timeline history of the world (future Earth - AU - because i'm in denial of this Trump fiasco) in relation to a story-in-the-making (since like the 00's lol) called The Utopia. There will potentially be spoilers in this for my story (and/or it's potential sequel). Here is a synopsis of the Utopia: It is set in the near future (in the U.S.A) and there is a condition (The Goliath Syndrome) that is affecting boys (& later girls as well. Will explain a lil in timeline) . It causes young boys to increase rapidly in size starting at a young age (about 6 or 7). They end up being 12x normal human height (e.g. a person whom would have been 5'10" as a unafflicted human would be 70' tall as a human with the Goliath Syndrome. A complex labeled "The Utopia" was made up for them by scientists who were searching for a cure (well, more like a blockade in a diff work). the infected boys are taken from their parents (either as newborn babies or on the eve of their 6th birthday - it's up to the parents.) and put in the "Utopia". Basically, the Utopia is a huge city/complex. Also, the scientists feel the Utopians should be able to live a life in which they are encultured about the outside world as well as learn to deal with people a 12th the size of them. This leads to a program which pairs up a "Utopian" (young adult/17+) with another similarly aged young person (male or female, young adult/18+) in which they partner up and live with each other for around 1-5 years, with an opt-out option at the end of each year period. Each year spent at the utopia can go towards education. The other option is cold hard cash but the education funding is typically the more valuable option! There is a little bit of everything in this - action, adventure, drama, friendship, romance (but to note, one of the main two characters is aro ace so will not be saturated w/ romance), a bit of mystery (granted you don't read any spoilers), and so on! Camelot Estates a new gated community has been talked about as being the hottest residential development in the country. All that anyone would need to live there would be to be wealthy and have the desire to live in Texas. Kenneth Walker the developer is pleased with lot sales and the number of construction starts. But he does have some concerns. Right up there at the top of his list is money. He has a large investment out there and bad press and or bad-acting residents can turn away prospective buyers in the blink of an eye. He is doing all that he legally can do to keep riff rafts, undesirables, and low lives out. Everyone that has purchased a home and moved in so far has been thoroughly scrutinized. Moving forward with the final part of vetting the latest group, he is pleased with the applicants. They all look great and sound great. What he does not know is all of them are hiding something. They may not be totally what they claim to be. The buyer that will be joining them in a few months, maybe the biggest problem of all. He is exactly what he claims to be. He couldn't hide it if he tried and he would not try.

This is a poem I just wrote for my mom... I have the greatest and strongest mom possible. But today she had a hard day... She was pretty much told that even though she cares for so many people that say they care and respect her that her opinion has no weight... It hurt her so much but she ran away before she let any of us girls see her tears fall. I wish there were no more bigots in the world and that I could protect her from all the pain... Telus is holding a contest on Wattpad seeking poems addressing bullying and I read some entries there - many wonderful entries. Each November Twentieth, the transgender community observes the Transgender Day of Remembrance, TDoR - when we remember and honor our sisters, brothers, and non-binary siblings lost . . . murdered for no other reason then they were transgender. This poem was written two years ago for TDoR and, while it doesn't directly address bullying, it addresses the aftermath - the result too often occurring from it. It also addresses those bullied who can no longer continue - the more than 40 percent transgender people - mostly children - who end their lives because they can no longer endure the bullying. Make room, we all exist.
