Ratchet was the proud owner of Bigweld Industries, but after his runin with Rodney Copperbottom and other rusty robots, he is down in the dumps. Literally. Not only is he chained for seemingly all of eternity with his sleezy father in what remains of the Underground, but he lost his mother. It seems like his life was over, but that all changes when his arch nemesis Rodney shows up again one day.
