Modern Day Prose is a collection of five short stories. All stories are real and are the 'secret' experiences of some Jamaican contributors. However, the stories have been modified on the basis of name change, and a few other necessary details which could link the contributors to the story. However, the essence is fully and truly untampered (But again, bare in mind that necessary changes were made to conceal the contributors' identetities at all cost). These accounts entail current issues which many people do not touch, particularly in the Jamaican society. However, many realities are highlighted such as what happens when people travel, are tied between love and their dreams, are young and impressionable and hence, make wrong decissions; and when they are at that stage of experimenting. All in all, these are twenty first century real life stories, which, some of them, have a rather unique format, i.e. poetry plus prose.
