After selling her adoptive father's extermination company, since he was so far in debt after he died, she decided that her and her son needed a new start. She didn't expect to go right back to working for an extermination company. She also didn't expect to quite possibly find the love of her life...

Billy Bretherton is newly single and a father to 13 month old Hadley

In an orphanage in bossier city lived a girl, who stayed there for almost her whole live. Abused. Neglected. But what if one day A Guy in a Trench coach decided he wanted to adopt because he was home alone after his divorce. Will he adopt her? Or leave without a child?

Many animals tend to cause problems at certain people's houses & other locations which leads to calling an exterminator to come out & deal with them. Although in Louisiana, there is an exterminator team named Vex Con who handle much of the issues and the two sons, Billy & Ricky, do a good job at it. Well one day Billy gets a call about this local foster home that is having some snake, raccoon & possum problems and he goes to deal with it. While there he overhears his tv show playing somewhere in the building & checks it out. He ends up meeting a teenage girl named Maverick who is a huge fan of him and he adopts her that day. He is not sure how his family will react to this girl and he is ready for some crazy times. Although Maverick tries to help out while trying to follow in Billy's footsteps, she only puts herself in danger and one day it goes too far for her.
