In the crowded, neon streets of 2024 Manila, Maya is a nobody. An orphan with a mysterious heart condition, she spends her days hiding in the National Library, searching for a family she never knew. She is a girl fading away-until she finds a 600-year-old grave that changes everything. Inside the ancient tomb of a forgotten Princess, Maya finds something impossible: her own childhood hair clip. That night, Maya's heart stops. When she opens her eyes, the cold city is gone. She is in the 14th-century Kingdom of Butuan, waking up in the body of Dayang Liwliwa, the daughter of a powerful and doting Rajah. For the first time in her life, Maya has everything she ever wanted-gold, power, and a father's love. But as the sun rises in the past, Maya wakes up in the future... and she is weaker than before. Why does she wake up covered in bruises she didn't have? Why does the Kingdom's Shaman watch her with hungry eyes? And why does the Rajah refuse to let her feet touch the ground? Maya is falling in love with a life that isn't hers, but the deeper she goes into the past, the faster she disappears from the present. She thought she found a miracle, but she might have walked into a golden trap. Some secrets are meant to stay buried. And some "fathers" will do anything to keep their daughters from truly dying.

Have you ever heard about "binukot"?how they live?what are they?who really are they? And most importantly do they exist ? However, binukot is confined, secluded it is a Filipino cultural practice that secludes a young person usually a young woman with the expectation that seclusion will result in a higher value placed on the individual by marital suitors in the future. The practice originated in the Philippines . It is mostly practiced by the panay bukidnon people, who keep women from the public eye beginning in childhood. Furthermore,a secluded or confined young lady will no longer permitted to step down to the land as this will hurt their feet.A binukot can't be seen by any one especially men.Binukot is treated as a princess as they are mostly a daughter of datu or Raja (one of the most powerful people in the Phillipines they treated as a king). This story is all about a girl who named Allina the daughter of Raja Madul and hara (hamra is the wife of Raja also known as the queen) liyana.Allina is a very lovely girl with a kindest heart she often visits the "ulipon" (begars, servants and peasants).she was loved by the ulipon and respected her as the next hara of the province.Until one day raja madul and hara liyana plan to make her as binukot as it will keep her safe against the enemy.

Death Waits or The Tale of Jaramarana Everyone knows that you can't bargain with Death. For Sidapa, the god of the Veil of Vijayas, is absolute. He is the true constant of life and the inevitable end of all journey. But can one run from the God of Death? The tale you're about to read is all set in the pre-colonial Philippines, in the land of Vijayas where all my Bagani Saga tales like THE SONGS OF STRIFE and TALES OF TIKUM KADLUM are set. This short story is inspired from a shorter tale I once read a long time ago. This, I guess, is my version of it? Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it and do leave a comment behind!
