Marinette just so happens to be a Wayne, not from adoption papers alike majority of the Wayne children but by blood. What happens when Marinette is being her nice self and got her college class a trip to start the new academic year, to Gotham. After learning that Bruce is her biological father, Marinette decides to live with him to learn more about him, only... he never seems to have time for her. Not as Bruce, nor as Batman. To make matters worse, he sees her a child, never taking her seriously. What must it take for Bruce to see Marinette wants to be seen? To be an equal? A part of the Wayne family and Bat Family?

Marinette just wanted a peaceful dinner reunion with her family, but of course, things never went according to plan. While Marinette never told her family about Lila's lies, they ended up finding out about it. Damian took it upon himself to expose his sister's classmate.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Jason Todd have been best friends since they were little kids, before Jason fled to the streets of Gotham. Both raven-haired kids grew up with identical pasts and backgrounds, and both connected with each other because of it. The two honorary siblings quickly became adoptive siblings after Jason fled to the streets after his dad went to jail and mom died, thanks to Sabine Dupain-Cheng adopting him at Marinettes begging and pleading, much to Tom Dupain's anger. Jason had Sabine and Mari's hearts and love for him, and the two had his, but never had Tom's, not that he cared. He hated the man because of the way he treated Mari and Sabine, which was like his bio father did to him, and Tom hated him because he'd lived in the streets and wasn't biologically part of the Dupain-Cheng family, so he got treated the same, but the abuse was 10x as bad. All Jason and Mari cared was that they had each other, and that they would be ok if they had each other by the other's side. But everything changed when Tom had finally had crossed the line, and that was the line that would change the siblings forever. 10 years later, Jason was adopted by billionaire Bruce Wayne aka Batman, has 7 other adoptive siblings, and is Red Hood... whenever he isn't traveling the world, looking for his beloved Pixie Pop. Marinette thinks her older brother is dead, and she lives alone with Tom. Hawkmoth is defeated, and the young Gothamite is broken beyond imagining. Can Jason, and maybe the rest of the Wayne family, bring the light back into her eyes and help her? Or will everything get a whole lot worse for her and Jason? Getting abandoned and tossed aside by your family tends to fester a strong hurt and resentment toward said family. No matter their reasons, no parent should ship off their child to another continent. No child should have to be separated from their parents under the pretense that said child will be safe. Unfortunately... that doesn't seem to be the case for our young protagonist Marinette. Having Bruce Wayne as your father whether by blood or adoption tends to end in disaster. Every child the Dark Night takes in ends up resenting him one way or another. Having him as your biological father, however, is another curse in itself. can this broken family reconcile and make amends? Or will the hatred and bad blood in this family only grow?
