"When I was born I was so small I was mistaken for a french fry. I was never an ordinary child. My best friend was a seagull. I was also illegal. Artificially intelligent people like me had been banned ever since that thing with the Twelve Elevens. Mother raised me for profit. Buyers and sellers had other plans for me, but then I grew a mind of my own. This is the story of how my brain ended up inside this box." Candles is a black-market, "artificially intelligent person" (or A.I.P., or "ape" in the colloquial sense, as in 'the planet of the'), an organic being, farm-raised on genetically engineered smoothies and destined for auction to the highest bidding criminal enterprise. Gifted with the ability to communicate with foul-mouthed seagulls and ill-tempered felines, this gender-less, age-less, race-less creature has to find its way to escape from the clutches of its mother and other assorted enemies, in this fairly exciting and ultimately utterly unexpected story.

We knew it had existed once, but no one knew it was still alive. Our paths had never crossed-not until March 27, 2032, the day of that accident in the Hammerfest glaciers. Poor sailor... The nanomorph awakened in his body for the first time. Then it moved to another, and another after that... Each one it touched turned Grey-drained, pale, weary of life. Scientists called them The Changed, but the people made their own word: The Weirds. In time, that became the only name they were known by. Soon, their numbers reached the thousands, and the world sank beneath the melancholic shadow of these new beings. They wanted to be healed-but we failed them. And then, one day... another color was born: the Reds. But they were different. The nanomorph had given them power. They carried an undying spark within, their sharp minds and boundless energy opening the door to an unknown future. "We are the next step of humanity," they said, taking the Greys under their wings. And the whispers began: "The Reds... are coming to take over the world."

Six years have passed since the Eternal Crown Marker shard shattered on Aegis VII. From that cataclysm emerged a power both god-like and unstoppable, its influence leeching into the farthest reaches of deep space. A new era of horror has dawned-one where the line between man and monster dissolves, and survival demands more than defiance. It demands transformation. Three destinies now intertwine amid a collapsing galaxy: The Avenger, driven by vengeance sharper than any blade. The Shaper, whose iron will can bend flesh and fate alike. The Wrath Incarnate, born of rage so pure it reshapes worlds. Each bears the ghost of Isaac Clarke's legacy, yet none remain linked to his destiny. This is not a remake. This is Dead Space-Awakened reimagined. Dive deeper into the Marker mythos, encounter brand-new terrors, and face the ultimate question: What happens when the nightmare doesn't just change the world... but changes who we are?

"Eve's Flower" is a gripping dystopian thriller that plunges into the dark, rain-soaked city of Nova Argon, introducing Kaya Yagami, an elite sniper driven by a singular purpose: justice . Operating outside any command, Kaya's mission is deeply personal, rooted in the mysterious death of her sister, Elira . The narrative unfolds as Kaya assassinates General Corven Strade, a high-ranking official implicated in "The Bloom" - a sinister bioweapon initiative turning human biomass into a grotesque, weaponized fungal accelerant . As Kaya unravels the conspiracy, she uncovers betrayals that strike at the core of her identity: her own mentor, Genzou, orchestrated Elira's death and manipulated Kaya's life as part of "Project NOXIS" . Haunted by the truth that she was "not a student... a seed" in their deadly garden, Kaya joins forces with Kaito Ren, a former ally of Elira, to expose the horrifying "Operation Helix Ember," which uses children as "organic substrate" for the Bloom Protocol . The story culminates in a high-stakes infiltration of the "Root Vault," a hidden facility where the Bloom Core is cultivated . Kaya, embracing her identity as a force for change, destroys the facility, tragically losing Kaito but rescuing the imprisoned children . The story concludes with Kaya adopting one of the rescued children, choosing to "plant hope" instead of seeking endless revenge, transforming her blood-soaked past into a future of renewal .
