I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw, unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person, prone to oversharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. Of late, the Holy Spirit keeps putting the title in my head, and I've finally gotten the message. (Extended version and book 2 available on Ink*tt.)

Based on true stories, this is a reflection on life and what it means. The author, a doctor, recollects on his near-death situations and relates them to his patients in a riveting and compelling book. An insight into a doctor's mind. This is my life. Not a story made to impress anyone. Just the truth of a girl who lived through things she never asked for.

This isn't a redemption fairytale. It's meth smoke and jail cells. It's losing children and losing your mind. It's driving ninety-five through a red light hoping something ends. It's bipolar spirals, broken knuckles, burned bridges... and the woman who stayed anyway. Michael Todd didn't "hit rock bottom." He detonated. Prison didn't save him. Rehab didn't magically fix him. Faye Lio grew up in rough conditions as a child living in Laos and Thailand. Now in her forties, she happily retells her many childhood memories to her two daughters. This biography features six short stories of Faye Lio's life back in Laos and Thailand. I made this book for my E.A project (It's like a senior project, but I did it as a junior). I have always listened to my mom's stories and I wanted to write it down onto paper. Please enjoy the retellings of Faye Lio's childhood.
