A year after Zero defeated Dr. Weil, the Resistance finds Zero's helmet in the crash sight of Ragnarock. The crystal in the helmet is taken out, and placed into a newly built Reploid, who doubles as a NetNavi. Rebels controlled by Model W, and a descendant of Albert Wily, attack the Resistance Base, who, for the past year, has made peace with Neo Arcadia.
