Five hundred years ago, six timeless heroes--the Toa--saved the island of Okoto from a great darkness and returned to their ethereal plane, waiting for the day to be called upon once more. However, in the centuries of peace, the six elemental tribes of Okoto-Fire, Water, Earth, Stone, Jungle, and Ice-have grown distant when a mysterious threat emerges to threaten the islanders. In one last attempt, the Protectors of the six tribes summon the Toa once more to aid them and bring peace to their people. However, these Toa are a little... different.

A look at what a sequel to the story of Bionicle might be. It's been thousands of years & by now all toa have transformed into turaga. The Mata Nui robot has been mostly dismantled, & the parts that haven't have been turned into great cities, called the Mata. (So the cities are Ta-Mata, Ga-Mata, Ko-Mata, Po-Mata, Onu-Mata, & Le-Mata.)

This is my first fan fiction, featuring the characters from the bionicle 2015 reboot, as well as some OC's. The events in this story take place between the events of wave one and two of the main storyline, and could possibly continue from there. One thing to mention: In this fanfic, I refer to the protectors that LEGO included in the new storyline by the names of the Turaga from the 2001 storyline, and may also include characters from the original plot into this one. Feel free to comment and vote! Synopses: After the Toa defeat the Lord of Skull Spiders, they find a mysterious cave, which reveals to them the Toa team that will replace them eventually. This is those Toa's story, of their training to become heroes, and their adventures as heroes.
