In the heart-stirred currents of 1921, a young woman emerges from the shadows of history, arriving in Birmingham with nothing but a suitcase and clothes on her back. Arriving there, she takes up residence across the street from the enigmatic Shelby family, known for their complex ties to the city's underbelly. She catches the eye of Thomas Shelby, the enigmatic leader of the Shelby family. Though not a man easily moved, there's something about the mysterious woman that intrigues him, sparking an unspoken connection. Follow the journey of Clara Shelby as she returns to Small Heath after being away for four years. She faces many struggles as her past and present collide as she has reunites with her brothers and learns the ways of the Peaky Blinders. This story is a little different in that it doesn't revolve around a romance and love interest. That doesn't mean that Clara won't have one, it just won't be the only thing the story is about.
