Theodore Collins has it all figured out.
Or really he has nothing figured out, but is content with winging his way through college. Theo's universe has always been particularly bright and interesting; living in an off campus apartment with his best friend and his slightly older brother while studying art and working as a bartender at their local bar. Everything has been just fine since they left his toxic hometown, leaving everything that scarred him behind.
Ace Archer is wanted by many but known by few.
He's spent the last two years building a new life for himself, away from everything and every one that ever weighed him down. He's a star on his college soccer team, his grades are exactly where he needs them and he's more than content with the way his universe has been turning.
When the two of them cross paths for the first time, the collide is enough to send them both reeling. They can't stand each other, but no matter how many insults they throw, two facts remain: Ace has never felt a pull as strong as Theo's and Theo has never thought something was missing until Ace. They're drawn to each other, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise.
Except, neither of them are as put together as they let on. Theo is still trying to heal from a past that was anything but great, and Ace is vehemently against letting anyone past the hardened shell he's spent years crafting.
Is the best remedy ofkr their pain to let each others light in? Or will the past get in between two of the brightest stars around, preventing them from shining together?
