In the ruins of a place known as Aventuela lies the nation of Twillis, a shining Capitol by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them to all send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Claudius Emberdeen, a Raboot with one eye, has rebeled against the idea to himself over the course of his life. When he is put on the line, he has too many choices to make, and what seems like not enough time. Claudius is rather inexperienced when it comes to survival, and whats pitted against him puts the Raboot in a life or death situation, to which he must make the right decision to prevail. - I don't own The Hunger Games or Pokemon at all. This is just a crossover fanfic that I have been wanting to write for quite a while now. May be a little violent at times, included with foul language and references. Every child in the world of Pokemon dreams of being the "very best". Yet, one day, everything changed (As everything usually does). On the day before his 10th birthday, he found a discarded Pokeball inside a trash-can. Rallen realized that, by catching a Pokemon, this was his chance to register for the Pokemon League Challenge. While searching, he comes across a trainer disowning a Pawnaird for "poor stats". Rallen offers his friendship to the Pokemon, who gladly accepts it in a heartbeat. Flash-forward to the present and Rallen is about to challenge the Unova Champion, with Bisharp leading his team. Will Rallen win? No spoilers, but; this isn't that kind of a story. This is a fan-fiction derived from a personal pitch I had drafted out years ago of what I thought a Pokemon movie should be like. This is still fairly rough, and I doubt it will be anything close to perfect. My intention was to adapt the Pokemon universe in a way that wasn't necessarily "grounded" or "realistic". In my mind, an adaptation of Pokemon should be a representation of what the Pokemon world is, and what it means to people. Rather than rework the anime, I have taken characters from the games and reinterpreted them to follow a narrative. My mission is to make these characters feel organic to the story and my vision of the Pokemon world. The main character is an original creation (Which is incredibly daunting), and I plan on incorporating the Pokemon into the plot as much as the humans. Overall this is an experiment.
