this book will be twenty one pilots based and heavily lore themed. this isn't a fanfiction or a theory. it's about the symbolism and the representation of a character within the lore that is meant to be looked into, with deep interest. let's study Keons.

"The fear and pain shall not be elements that stop us, but what feeds us to persevere." Clancy is a Scribe within the walled city of Dema, a silent, gray place where everything is performed with efficiency and repetition. While he is proud to represent his district amongst the Scribes and relay the history of Dema for future generations, he begins to feel that there is something missing within the city that can only be found outside the walls. Risking everything to escape the perimeters, Clancy realizes that the ravines of Trench can be a dangerous place, especially with the canyon's labyrinthine pathways and the Bishops at his heels. Lianna Higgins and her odd trio of outcasts have been scouting Trench for the better part of three years, hoping to one day liberate the people of Dema themselves, even if it means risking their lives. When Lianna stumbles upon an escapee from Dema fate brings them and Lianna's crew to the Banditos, who themselves are devoted to usurping the Bishops and bring the walls of the gray city down. Lianna doesn't enjoy the Banditos' company - as a matter of fact, she despises their company - but she doesn't have anywhere else to go and the life of a timid young Scribe now rests like a heavy weight on her shoulders. The trial ahead will be hard and neither Clancy nor Lianna are eager to weigh the odds - but joining the Banditos and severing ties with Dema may be the only way for them to survive. It hit Tyler like a ton of bricks. They wanted to make you forget. The bishops wanted control. And if they wanted that, he would certainly give them none.

evie (pronounced EH-vie) is apart of the banditos, a clan lead by tyler joseph and josh dun. their arch nemesis, the bishops are always kidnapping tyler and other banditos and taking them back into the city of dema. evie is just in it to be safe from the bishops, but when she gets too involved, things take a turn and evie's life in trench will never be the same. intentional lowercase i do not own the world of trench nor any songs or other things that i reference. credit to twenty-øne piløts.

My take on the Clancy letters from the Dema website run by Twenty One Pilots. (I wrote this before the Pilots got off of their hiatus so just take that into consideration especially with Keos' charcter.) I wrote this for a English paper and I liked how I wrote it.

Tyler isn't always Clancy, and he might have made his best friend, Josh, up, but really, none of that matters in the grand scheme of things. Tyler's too scared to escape, too scared to stand up to the Bishops, but that's where Clancy comes in.

The first time, it was terrifying. The fifth time, it was routine. Tyler has to escape before it's too late, but will he even if it means he has to let go of the only clarity he has?

June lives the typical life of a citizen in DEMA. She follows the rules, just getting by. She never steps out of line in fear of the Bishops, just like everyone else. One fateful night changes that all and sends June down a path she never thought she would choose. She's damaged and has her walls up, but has to learn to adapt to a new kind of life in the confines of the city. ----------------------- Prequel to my other book - The Banditos A Twenty One Pilots inspired AU.

The Catholic Church has seven sacraments. They are divided into three section. The first are the Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. Tyler had been in Dema for as long as he could remember. It was one of the only places he knew. But he also knew that there was life outside of these walls. Beyond the control of the Bishops. Tyler, with the help of a rebel named Josh, tries to find a way to escape Dema to a new, free life outside the walls. But will Tyler's fear attract the Bishop's again? {Not Joshler}
