"Bison Returns" follows Vera, a warrior transformed from a man named Lee by the dictator M. Bison, as she and her partner Cammy track down reports that Bison has survived as a broken homeless man in Eastern Europe. Their investigation leads them to an abandoned Shadaloo facility where the seemingly helpless man reveals his true nature, fully transforming back into the powerful M. Bison and unleashing chaos that kills several operatives. After escaping, Bison retreats to a hidden laboratory where he attempts to clone Vera to create a controllable version of her former self as Lee, but when the experiment fails, he sets his sights on another victim, Decapre. The story explores themes of identity, trauma, and whether victims can ever truly escape their abusers, while showing how the heroes' relationships fracture under the weight of impossible moral choices between justice and revenge.
