Written in Eddie's POV (because there aren't enough fics written in his POV) Excerpt: As they hung out more, Eddie found himself wanting to be closer to Steve, more than just friends. His feelings started small, stealing little glances of him while he wasn't looking, but then it grew. Eddie would feel his stomach do flips even at the lightest touch. He'd turn a bright shade of red even when Steve would call him nicknames that he's heard millions of times before. When he realized what he felt, he thought about telling Steve, hoping he'd feel the same. Eddie quickly realized how impossible that was, seeing that Steve is straight and even if he wasn't, there's no way he'd feel the same about Eddie. We're just friends, that's all, Eddie had to remind himself whenever they were together. Just friends, nothing more. This is my first fic, so sorry if it isn't perfect. All Eddie wanted was a smoke, then all the sudden he ran into Steve 'The Hair' Harrington and Robin Buckley completely drugged out of their minds. Steve and Eddie have a moment, but are then pulled away by Dustin. Eddie didn't see Steve again for a while. 2 months later, Star Court is reopening after the fire, Eddie is back to try and find Steve, because he just can't get that night out of his head. What's uninspected is Steve not remembering Eddie from that night whatsoever. That doesn't stop them from getting close all over again and becoming good friends... maybe even more.
