I've never really liked my life before the Shadow Verse. I would've given almost anything to live somewhere else. Or... at least with my real patents. When I first came to the Shadow Verse, things were... different in the mortal world. Shadows were moving on their own. Shadows were there when they weren't supposed to be. Then it hit me. Shadows were gaining a mind of their own. They've been watching us. But... what if-- and this is just a thought. What if they're trying to take over? What happens then?
