Troye is his soulmate. Or at least Jacob thinks he is. Troye feels the same as Troye. But there are a lot of people named Troye in the world and this Troye might not be the Troye. It's besides the point though, because Jacob knows he can't allow himself to get close to any boys. He just can't and he's told himself this multiple times. He has to simply stay away from Troye Mellet. But he can't. Jacob Bixenman can never stay away from Troye Mellet. It's physically impossible for him to.

"why are you eating those?" he asked "because they're sour. I like it" he started to squeeze the lime to his tounge.

Jacob keeps on saying that Troye is too much for anyone, and Troye tries to convince everybody else, but above all himself, that he deeply hates the hazel-eyed guy. From the story: "Are you fucking kidding me?" I'm shouting, so that he will not answer with other bullshit. "You are controlling me! I swear, Jacob, I hat- " but I stop. I hate you, I think. "If you really hate me so much, then look me in the eyes and say it clearly." His voice is strict and sure. "Otherwise I will keep on looking for you."
