When you're a child you have this idea in your head of who you want to be. Some abandon the idea when they get older and never look back and others regret not living up to their own expectations. Me on the other hand falls in between that, I have a different idea on who I want to be a lot. Constant daydreams of all the different lives I could have. Recently I have gotten into anime and stumbled across a series called "Yuri on Ice''. It has inspired me to try ice skating, but first let me provide a little bit of back story. The dream that has stuck with me the longest and what I still strive for, from time to time, is to become some sort of artist. I tried drawing, painting, video editing, and writing. I was good at painting and writing. My life went kinda fast from teenager to adult and I got caught up in making a living and being married. Even though for my age by normal standards I am way ahead and doing well with my life, but I feel lost. I am not the person I wanted to become by a long shot. So that is why I am here at this ice rink in the Midwest, because I am going to find myself, no matter what gets in my way from now.
