Kirishima asks, voice laced with hesitancy and hurt. "Are you mad at me?" Katsuki's eyes widen, head snapping up automatically to find Kirishima's face and tell him no, he didn't do anything, he- Ah, shit. Kirishima is sitting on the couch beside Katsuki, head tilted slightly and his face completely gone.

Outside, the sky is painted an inky black, faintly stained with the lights coming from various streets and signs and open windows. It's that time of year; costumes are out, scary movies are binged, and ridiculously large parties are thrown. Katsuki thinks that this is all fucking stupid; from Mina forcing him to let another student use her quirk on him to make him become his costume (really? what kind of quirk is that?) to random girls trying to hit on him. And so, here he is. Stuck at a party he didn't want to go to, where everyone and everything was pissing him off. ...well. Everything except one person.

It was second year, break was over and everyone had to move fully back into the dorms, with new dorm mates. Katsuki had went through his mind countless times, when he opened the email of his dorm partner, His stomach turned upside down and his heart sank......Izuku was coming back to UA. Katsuki covered his mouth and tried to keep from crying, he was...happy, actually happy, he knew why now. After being away from Izuku for the 3 months on break was hard, and the over baring feeling of he wouldn't come back went through Katsuki's mind countless time. The mindless love he had for his childhood friend would always be the same
