In the 1300s, Sorens father goes missing and he must flee Europe because of the great pestilence. (black death). Soren sneaks onto one of his fathers boats and his mother sends him off to Sri Lanka, the safest time for him there. Meanwhile, Lee, a 16 year old wanted criminal is on the run, and stranded. Plague hunters hunt such monsters, When they are not taking care of the sick and dying they are chasing down rumors and following trails to deal with the monsters using their skills to find ways to deal with the many types they had come across. One such Rumor has led Amelia to Lancaster, following the rumors of a house that appeared out of nowhere after being burned down, with people seemingly vanishing out of thin air when they walk down the street the house was on. Now, Amelia must confront not just the monsters of myth, but the darkest truths of humanity. Will she survive, or will the house claim her too?
