My own version of what would happen in season two of Our Flag Means Death. The sweet love story between Edward Teach and Stede Bonnet, co-captains of the Revenge.

Stede Bonnet is a mermaid who longs to be a pirate. When the chance comes along for him to have legs, he jumps onboard. However, in order to keep them, he has to kill or seduce a pirate captain in two weeks. Easy, right? Title of this fic is a line from the song "Calypso" by John Denver.

Stede and Ed decide to take a vacation from innkeeping and spend time with the crew and they made it just in time for Calypso's birthday, where Ed gets really drunk.

He loves to sing and dance and read love stories. He loves the way he looks in fine things. Stede wants to be loved by Ed the way he loves him.

"Say the name again." Ed stabbed his dagger in the wooden barrel that served them as a table. "And be sure you're remembering correctly." The storyteller dropped his bottle and his friend spilled his drink over himself as he flinched. "I- I swear I'm only repeating what I heard from the Windward Islands!" "Who died?" Ed growled. "Bonnet! Some bloke named Stede Bonnet," whimpered the man, his eyes following the tip of the dagger as it approached his throat. "He was a wealthy landowner from Barbados, that's what they say. I don't know more, swear it on my life!" * What would happen if Ed caught wind of Stede's death and spent several days thinking they parted ways without ever saying goodbye? OFMD fanfic Events take place two years after they departed. Stede never stopped looking for Ed , Ed gave up on everything including himself. Lots of angst because I need it. I don't own rights to any of these characters.

Stede was a well-known gentleman who was understood to have been very unsettled with his life. Married with children, his life lacked a certain feel of something he craved. Well, be careful what you wish for as the day of the raid had happened. Blackbeard had come.

Blackbeard emerges from belowdecks after hearing his ship being raided. Who he sees takes his breath away. Being a long-time lover of the How to Train Your Dragon movies and a newfound Our Flag Means Death fan, I've decided to mash the two together like Vladimir with his little ceramic unicorns in Tangled. Stede Bonnet is most certainly not the runaway son of an incredibly wealthy baron, who fled the very night he was to be wed to a Ms. Mary Allamby. Heavens no! He's a Lighthouse Keeper. And as a very good lighthouse keeper, he is positive absolutely nothing will go wrong. Not a thing. {This is also over on ao3 if you prefer that platform :) }

I am coming here after almost a year of not writing any new fics. Theme of this one is my new favourite series Our Flag Means Death. (This takes place after season one. if you haven't finished it, do it now.) - Edward had been long gone ever since Stede had left him at the dock. The only person there now is Blackbeard. The man went down a spiral that ultimately ended with him going back to his old days of being a heartless, emotionless, person who showed no mercy for any person. Soon, word had gotten to the ship about Stede's tragic death which made Blackbeard build his walls more. Never letting any man make his way into his heart ever again. But what happens when a man named Clark Bennett, a wannabe gentleman pirate, catches Blackbeard's attention?
