Just one night, turned into so much more after Gabriel Coleman's 21st birthday bash. The birthday bash that he had told Luke Taylor to help him find a one night stand. The one where he would get black out drunk and have no regrets in the morning. Just one night for Sang Sorenson turned into so much more when a month later she didn't get her period, and the next, and the next. She only slept with one guy. One guy that entire damn two month period because of her "dry spell", yeah if you can call going to school with a double major and double minor with a slight chance of being classified as a "genius" to your friends dry. More like busy and intimidating to any potential male suitors around her. She was graduating in 3 months! She had worked damn hard and now, now she is pregnant. Gabe doesn't know. Sang let it go. She's fine on her own, has been her entire messed up life. So what happens when years later Sang meets the notorious Blackbourne Team? Will she get the chance, or will fate intervene faster?

Now that North Taylor is eighteen and in a stable environment with the Blackbourne team, he decides it's time to go back overseas and to find the one person he wanted to save the most when he was just a little boy. Cover by Macey_Mouse Sang is a human. Scratch that, she's a cat. She's an Academy bird? Maybe labels aren't her thing. Sang Sorenson is a shifter, a human who can shift into an animal at will. It's been her secret for years. She never had the best life, but when her mother found out, Sang found out just how cruel humans could be. The punishments were relentless, always for things she didn't do. Her mother's favorite was to strip her down naked, force her to shift, and lock her out of the house until it was time for school. Then, Sang would be let inside to get ready, go to school, come home and do some chores, possibly being punished, and then it was outside for the rest of the night/weekend. She was a 'creature from Hell,' as her atheist mother might say, an animal. And animals live outside. That doesn't make it any easier to survive out there, however. So when Sang gets stuck in a tree, and the boys come to the rescue, she's grateful for the 'friends.' She soaks up their attention and affection, quickly worming her way into their team- but as only a mere cat. They confide in her, love her as a pet, unaware of her true nature. They have no idea the kitten they love so much is really just a teenage girl. How long can she keep up the act? What happens when the boys find out? The Blackbourne Team has been undercover for the past six months with a dangerous gang. Everything is fine until Kota gets kidnapped. The group who took him is actually a rival mafia. Their family panicked and have no idea how to help Kota without breaking their cover. All seems lost to the team who are all resigned to losing all the work they have done. Until Owen offers a solution. But this particular solution will reveal some secrets that their Team Liaison have kept hidden: A girl, a girlfriend in this situation. One who might just be in the thick of this situation and someone close to Owen's heart. Is he ready to share exactly who this is? He has no choice in order to get Kota back, all must be revealed. It about how I see Sang if all she knew was living in a house never having set foot outside it. (I'm not yet revealed how she traveled from home in Illinois to South Carolina in the story) she has learning. Only she learned by hearing her mother, father, and sister. The boys have rescued her. She is 16½ but looks 10-13 in age. As of right now noone is interested in her romantically. Will that change only the characters know. I'm doing the book in parts and only publishing when a part is done. I keep having to go back many times to change something that is changed because it doesn't fit.
