An alternate universe fan fiction based on the characters belonging to CL Stone's Ghost Bird Academy series. Sang Sorenson, a highly driven and focused college student, begins to discover there is more to life than working hard and getting ahead. She is determined to succeed and doggedly pursues her dreams. She starts meeting some guys, who begin to pursue her like dogs on a hunt. Will she be able to hold them off so she can obtain her goal? Does she even want to? Or will she discover her goal is pointless if she has no one to share it with?

Because of how much she sings, she is known by Sang. After something happens, one of their experiments gone bad at age five, she develops powers. Powers she can't control, powers she doesn't want. Powers to move things, to set things on fire, to see things that shouldn't be there. But she finally escapes after setting the entire facility on fire. She lives on the streets for two years, before one afternoon, she begins running from one of the creatures she sees. She runs into the team on a mission to follow someone, when the creature attacks. Left with a choice, she chooses to sacrifice her safety and save one of the members of the team. And you know once you enter a certain teams life, they just won't let you go. - Took a bit of inspiration from Stranger Things, so I don't own anything from Stranger Things not the Academy.

my name is sang Sorenson and I'm 18 year old. When i was 15 (nearly 16) I thought I was in love even now I'm not still not sure of what it was. He was new to town and we just click even though he told me he wasn't staying for long we spent every spare time we had together. On his last night I stayed with him and things just happened and that's how I ended up with my little munchkin Bailey. I tried to call him to tell him but some how the paper with his number went missing and then we moved so if he did come back to look for me I wouldn't be there and I didn't know how to track him down. Sang Sorenson, a beautiful, gorgeous, innocent, naive, model. At the young age of 17, sang doesn't even know what sex is that's how innocent she is. Being locked in her room since forever by her mother and only leaving when it's time for her photoshoot, she doesn't even go for interviews because her mother makes an excuse about her being sick ,she doesn't know a thing about the world. Her mother tutors her by herself but only on English. One morning Sang's mother comes to room after an angry conversation on the phone and her mother say's something that struck her heart and she runs away.
