After half the scho finds out what Regulus has planned to defeat the dark lord, majority go after him. James is worried. Severus is worried. Sirius, Remus, Marlene, Dorcas, Pandora, Barty, Evan, Mary, Lily, Peter - everyone is scared. Running after Regulus James starts to doubt if they'll get there on time at all. Will they? Regulus black changed after his brother left, he'd used to be a younger clone of Sirius,Regulus was just as obnoxious,loud and confident as his brother but when his brother left he was quiet and a shell of who he was. Sirius's friends had called him 'baby Sirius' but after his Brother left he couldn't even try to be his old self.
