DREAM BIG,NOT SMALL,TAKE RISK,DONT FALL,RICH THE SKY AND START YOUR RACE DROM THERE.... AS A BLACK GIRL BROUGHT UP FROM THE CITY OF CARLIFONIA I HAD A LOT OF DREAMS.. . .LIKE HOW EVERYONE OF US HAS. . BUT I DIDNT KNOW MY PURPOSE OR WHAT I WAS MADE FOR. . . I AM THE ONLY CHILD OF MY MUM AND DAD.. (SCOFFS) ITS NOT A PERFECT HOME SO . . . HOW CAN DREAM BIG WHEN ALL IM SURROUNDED WITH IS NOTHING BUT ARGUMENT WHERE DO I STARTR FROM.. HOW DO I BECOME SUCCESFULL STUCK IN A WORLD WHERE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO ARE RECOGNIZED ARE THE RICH..... HOW DO I MAKE A NAME FOR MY SELF..

This poem is about the strength and endurance of an average black/man/woman/child. It celebrates our journey and reminds of our past The current situation in the world has exposed how hard it is for black people in general. Human rights are meant for EVERYONE. This poem is just to remind us of what we went through as people and what we have achieved as people.

This novel contains real life event from the authors point of view. I, Shameka Dean, would like to tell my side of the story. How i overcame many obstacles as a young adult and young mother. Battling generational curses, depression, oppression, detachment issues and emotional stress. I embody the concept of strength in a black women. I hope this encouraged women of all races and nationalities to keep pushing forward.
