A story written in journal form by a Plague Doctor on the day to day life during the black death plague.

This is a story about Allan Macintear in the year 1350, when the Bubonic Plague struck Europe. It's about how he must survive the plague whilst keeping his sanity in check, with his "friend" Nevin always at his side, and knowledge as an advantage, will he be able to not only survive but withstand The Plague?

When you're little you might have been told about stories about pirates, fairies, and witches but these are all tales and fiction but what my grandpa read to me this once was the darkest thing I have ever heard and I knew this was all real by the look in his face.

"On 7 March, the first local transmission of COVID-19 was confirmed. ... closely with the Department of Health in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak---" I turned off my laptop and start packing my things. A week before this was fine and normal then that virus happened out of nowhere add it exploded like a bomb and spread so fast all over the world. A pandemic disease, an invisible enemy, so many deaths, everyone in the world is affected. And it seems like the Black Death is back. The hospital where I work is already equipped and ready to accept patients with symptoms or anything with regards the virus, but just like everyone around the world we didn't expect that it would be much worse than what we expected. It is dangerous and deadly yet here we are facing the invisible enemy head on, not thinking about our own lives that we are risking. But for the sake of the victims and affected people we are here to fulfill our oath and duty. We are THE FRONTLINERS.

The year is 1738, and the Black Death has claimed almost half of the village of Brasov, Romania. While her family believes that she has finally succumbed to the horrendous plague, Amalie Grigorcea awakes to find herself next in line to be placed on a mass funeral pyre. Her relief at being able to escape is short-lived, however, as she finds herself trapped in the dark woods by a great white wolf named Apollo.

This is a dark twist on the class nursery rhyme 'Row Your Boat'. The dark twist is that the lines now will refer to events that happened in the plague. I don't own the image used in this and I don't own the original rhyme.

We pass by the same swing every single day on the way home from school. I do wonder what would happen if we tried approaching it.
