Everyone knows Blackfall. They know the name whispered whenever the city's lights flicker and the air suddenly becomes heavy. They know the man who can bend gravity to his will. They know the villain who has walked away from heroes, soldiers, and entire operations without ever looking afraid. They know the monster. Elara Finch doesn't. At least, not at first. To her, Kael Arden is simply an infuriating, arrogant man with an unsettling stare, a dangerous smile, and an annoying habit of appearing exactly when she doesn't expect him. Then he starts paying attention to her. Not the city. Not the Vanguard. Not the heroes hunting him. Her.
