However upon meeting Steven, Onyx has a change of heart and realizes why he volunteered to go with Lapis. Author: I absolutely adore Lapis's character and feel like some writers write her way too happy for what she's gone through. So I decided to take up this small project and hopefully write Lapis convincingly.
