The two are thrown together after a brief encounter and they found themselves developing feelings for each other amidst family breakdown, friend's betrayal, failed tests, and missed opportunities. This book follows the lives of the finalists at Lakeview High as they maneuver their way to become better adults in the seemingly ugly world.

This is a story about a girl named Halle who's life is filled with tension, nobody around her every knows what the outcome will be, they just know that it will be interesting.

I am a historian. I love history and discovering new people and event. History is important and a lot of the times certain history is left out in our school's curriculum because people don't want to admit these things happen. Living in a society where the history we learn are usually white men with only a handful of black people and woman. I am a White woman, trying my best to be an activist and wanting to bring these stories we don't know about to light.

A lot often during Black History Month, there's a lot of "All Lives Matter" going around trying to fight the BLM. In this book, I'm gonna talk about some stuff about the ALM and why it's so strongly disliked by the black community during Black History Month in specific, and some other things as well as damage things have had. I will be speaking from my view as a person of the black community. Book Cover is not mine.

My voice had risen and pitch or two but I continued. 'If I may, I shall take my french leave because unlike some of you getting detention for being tardy is unacceptable.'
