Free time is abundant in the zombie apocalypse. But one can only play cards so much before going insane with boredom. In order to pass the time and documents what's going through their minds, our favorite rockstars all agreed to keep their own personal journals, never for the others to see. But now, we get to dive deep into the minds of Tom Keifer, Eric Brittingham, Blackie Lawless, and the others as they live within a world full of the dead.

Madelyn Lawless's version of normal isn't close to what we see as normal. For her entire life, she's been different than those around her. Madelyn is a mortal living in a creature realm, the only mortal. As a result, those who know her protect her at all costs. Blackie Lawless, a werewolf, adopted her when she was a baby. The only people Madelyn grew up around were werewolves, Frankenstein-like beings, zombies, vampires, and all your other average storybook monsters. Except they're exactly like us. They look like us in their normal form, they talk like us, have the same technology as us. And just like us, there are good and bad creatures within each type. Tom Keifer, a Vampire, belongs to the good side. Tobias Marcaida, a Vampire in Madelyn's reoccurring nightmares, belongs to the evil side. But what happens when Madelyn falls in love with Tom and confronts her nightmares head on?

What happens when Alex meets Blackie Lawless at the Whisky in '85? As much as she doesn't want to like Blackie, his charisma will always bring her in.

Book 2/6 Six more rockstars, each with different backgrounds, are thrown into a zombie apocalypse. Axl Rose, Joan Jett, Jon Bon Jovi, Bret Michaels, Gene Simmons, and Nikki Sixx team up to survive in the decrepit world they live in. But there's a catch. A few members put the group at extreme risk every day. Gene: A sex-crazed man who flirts with every woman they come across. Nikki: An addict who still manages to find drugs, get high, and go insane, or goes through crazed withdrawals. But the one who puts everyone at the greatest risk is Joan: A former Savior under Negan.
