This piece is based off of the emotion I feel when it comes to the unfair treatings of my black and brown people. As 2020's tragic events unfolded I was unsure how to articulate what I was feeling, so I put it into a poem. A glance, A moment engraved in time. I saw you and nothing was ever the same.

So I like to think that I'm a pretty level headed person, but there are some things that just really rub me the wrong way. This book will probably just be rants, realizations, random thoughts and--like the title says--musings. The topics in this book will mostly be concerning race. My opinion is obviously going to be different from others, but I'm beyond okay with that. All I really want is to start some conversations, and get people seeing and thinking about things a little differently. And I want to rant.
