This story is true. I might not use the right names for the people in this story for privacy but it's true. This is my story. I'm the oldest in a family of five kids. But there's something that makes us different. Me, my parents, and the second oldest brother are white, the three youngest are black. My parents adopt. And they adopt black kids( they like brown babies better they say. Wow. Thanks Mom.) And we have a variety of kids. From an Irish/African/Korean kid from Galveston to a Ghanaian kid we internationally adopted. Oh, did I mention my sister is deaf? In some ways this makes my family different. It makes us crazy! It makes people stare or come up and praise my Mom. In other ways it makes us completely the same as any other family. They just don't know it. So here's a few short stories from my life.
