This story is true. I might not use the right names for the people in this story for privacy but it's true. This is my story. I'm the oldest in a family of five kids. But there's something that makes us different. Me, my parents, and the second oldest brother are white, the three youngest are black. My parents adopt. And they adopt black kids( they like brown babies better they say. Wow. Thanks Mom.) And we have a variety of kids. From an Irish/African/Korean kid from Galveston to a Ghanaian kid we internationally adopted. Oh, did I mention my sister is deaf? In some ways this makes my family different. It makes us crazy! It makes people stare or come up and praise my Mom. In other ways it makes us completely the same as any other family. They just don't know it. So here's a few short stories from my life. And it's all written in black and white.

When Gina and Matt's mom told them that in two weeks they would be moving across the globe to Nigeria, a country in Africa and her home continent, they'd straight up laughed in her face. When she didn't laugh along with them, they'd realised that they were screwed. Welcome to Naija! This is not your typical paradise...

Come all ye fiendful . . . Halloween is a much anticipated event in Melashire, Kalea Keats's suburban town . . . maybe a little overblown. Mock rituals made on All Hallow's Eve opens a portal from a demonic realm, demons that see all humans as gallows;deserving to be killed. They take on human form and inhabit abandoned houses waiting to lure Halloween-happy people in . . . but not all of them. Things start to go wrong for Kalea and her trick-or-treating friends on Halloween when, after people start to go missing, a seemingly normal kid invites them into his parent's old mansion. Will they escape with their lives or fall victims of the diabolical demons? And will they be able to send the demons back to their realm and seal the portal shut forever? It's All Gallow's Eve, come all ye fiendful.

Huey and Riley Freeman are back in a low-key, stylised reboot of the original show, on your wattpad! It's been a year or so since Robert Freeman died. The boys' only legal guardian has left them behind in a white dominated district. But Huey and Riley got those strings, and they pull them. They find themselves in an apartment in a nice view right on the edge of Woodcrest, a mix between "boujee" and "ghetto". They take care of themselves, as well as they can. After all, Huey is almost 15 years old now, and Riley is 13. However, one day, they are sent a notice threatening an investigation and fine unless they don't attend school after summer vacation. So they attend the school, and damn -- that place needs some Riley and Huey Freeman. Whether it be... Riley's "menacing" influence, or Huey's "cynical" one. Please enjoy my story, a social commentary with a similar satrical twist, based around the original series. Only, it has more of a youthful, modern yet authentic flair to it. They learn from their mistakes, and damn right make sure to fix the ones around them.
