Zaire is just trying to survive senior year without failing school, getting kicked out, or falling in love again. Then Malik transfers schools after getting into a fight at his old one. At first everybody thinks Malik is dangerous because he barely talks and always looks angry. But Zaire slowly realizes Malik's just tired of pretending to be somebody he's not.
