It has been two years since Marie Jordan also known as Spirit has left Earth 16 to go find her home universe, and a lot has changed. Hal Jordan has a new protege who is a Green Lantern just like him, by the name Jenna Hanning. Alya Jordan, Spark has grown up so much and has truly stepped up as a hero, leaving behind her selfish nature, and has become a true member of the team. Even in the absence of Marie, life on Earth 16 has moved on. Kaldur has taken the mantel of Aquaman and has become the leader of the Justice League. M'gann has adopted a new look and is now the leader of the Team, Dick has left the Team to do his own thing, and has started to date, Barbara. Artemis has also left the Team to play house with Will Harper formerly known as Roy. And Wally West is still dead. When Marie returns home to Earth 16, she is met with all these changes, and she's not prepared at all for them. Darkseid's forces are breaching multiple Earths, and the Anti-Life Equation threatens free will across all realities. Using forbidden Ashanti chronomancy, Rip summons Mosi Carter/Kwaku Anansi to the Vanishing Point. Together, they must rally heroes from every Anansiverse show, forming the Time Masters to confront the cosmic threat before it becomes unstoppable in time.

Grace and Anissa get ready for date night, and Grace reminds Anissa what happened the last time she lost her temper at the movies.

And as Lena tries to comfort Kara as she deals with a devastating loss, a figure from her past threatens her future with Supergirl. Love is kryptonite, and when you have a superpowered alien from another Earth as your girlfriend, that phrase might just become literal. Because Crisis saw the merging of Kara's Earth and Barry Allen's Earth and the unnamed Justice League forming at the end of Crisis, Kara will also deal with her feelings for Kate Kane, also known as Batwoman, which will have conflicts in her relationship with Lena. There will be major spoilers for Crisis on Infinite Earths, Parts Four and Five. Characters from The Flash, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, and Batwoman will make significant appearances in each episode due to Crisis, which will make this a Supergirl novel that will focus on more than just the titular character. Lena will have POV chapters as well as Kate and Sara.
