This book is inspired by the movie/book "The Summer I Turned Pretty." It isn't exactly like it but it has the same vibe. This book follows a black friend group on summer vacation in Malibu just enjoying and living life.

Five couples arrive at a secluded luxury retreat seeking clarity in their relationships. With distractions removed and honesty demanded, buried tensions surface and unexpected connections form. As boundaries blur and loyalties are tested, the retreat reveals a truth none of them can avoid: love doesn't break loudly-it shifts quietly, then all at once. Not every relationship will survive what comes next.
