How does it feel to know there will always be someone behind you? To know that every step you take is mimicked by some force of darkness that never ceases to go away. It’s there forever and until your death. Calla’s life has always been one of the ordinary. The normal parents, normal friends, and normal school. But when her father’s murdered and she starts college. Things start to get ugly.

17 year old Nova, has always been a orphan, and is most certain that she will always be. But her world is shattered by one step in the wrong direction and she finds that some old legends are not what they appear to be. She is thrown into a whirlwind of people, places, and things that she never knew existed. What will happen when Nova starts looking for her adopted brother and what will she do when she falls in love with the only person who can truly look her in the eye. Countries fall into darkness as clouds of smoke cover the world. When May and her friends find their own country slowly dying they seek answers for the curse that has befallen their world. If they find the answers they are looking for will they just lead to more questions or lead to answers they don't want to hear? As they travel on they realize the horrible truth about the Smoke. Upon finding a person who can answer their questions, they have to decide if they can take on the burden or let their world die.

When Ajok transitions to upper school, she can't help but feel out of place, because of the lower school uniform she still wears. Grace helps her thicken her skin and put sticks in her ears, to block the insults and whispers of her classmates, but there's one whisper that does not go through her ears. It strikes directly into her heart. Agaba' whisper. However, Agaba is the owned territory of none other than, Ajok's archenemy, Nambi. Will Ajok and Agaba end up together, or Nambi has put a caveat on Agaba, her property? Join them to find out also whether Ajok will manage this battle armored in a lower school uniform for upper school battles.

A short introduction into my life and who I am.

This story is about a girl who has been beat and rape by her brother and more recently she finds herself alone. It's a win win situation. She gets a way from her father who neglects her and her plan/ thought of suicide becomes more clear. Everything starts to become worse. Will, her cousin visiting for the while, Lydia, her best friend, Maddie, her other half, are the only ones who haven't gave up. Then, they try to make her have fun. She ends up screwing up big time. She should have stayed at the party. Instead of it being a simple dream, it turns to be true. When her real friends that's she's been pushing away for some time now, figure what's going on, she finds herself in a life she once knew. Now she has a choice. A right choice and a wrong. Either way, she's gotta die. Did she get herself in too deep?
